A North Shore Cyclists ride from Amesbury MA to Chester NH on mostly wooded roads past farms and through quaint historic towns. The short route goes to Newton and Plaistow, but not Chester.

  1. This is a Keeper! I cycle the Long. I ride from Newburyport to the Amesbury start. This ride is a such a nice mix. Lots of twists and turns, nice variety, some challenging climbs – but well worth it! Lovely scenery. Most of the elevation gain is on your way to Chester. The return is, for the most part, flattish/down. Best to cycle this in NOT hot/humid temps. I cycle this many times each year. A favorite! Enjoy!!!
