Haverhill riding north

Start: Northern Essex Community College 100 Elliott Street, Haverhill, MA (View map) Meet in the Technology center Parking Lot.

Description: This ride takes us on familiar roads, some a bit hilly, and travels north of the Merrimack River into Merrimac and Amesbury, with longer rides continuing through Newton, Kingston and South Hampton in New Hampshire. Distance options 18, 32, 50 and 62 miles.

Food stops along the route:

  • Possible lunch stop on the 61 mile loop is a Pizza Shop around mile 28 on RT 107/N Main Street in Freemont, NH.
  • Possible lunch stop on the 50 mile loop is at the Village Market in Kingston, NH about 1/2 mile off the loop.
  • The 28, 32, 51 and 62 mile rides go by Jewel Towne Vineyards on Jewell St. They have a nice tasting room with free wine tastings!
